This is where we meet in person or on Zoom. We discuss your inspiration, go over ideas. We will also talk about paperweight and texture here so that the design is created with your end publishing texture in mind!

After the consult, you will receive a contract and invoice before designing will begin. There is a 50% deposit required prior to any design work being exchanged. The final proof will not be sent without a watermark until final payment is received.

You will receive 3-4 rough drafts to decide what direction you would like to go in. We will have a meeting to go over what pieces you like, what you don’t like—and then we will continue to the next round of drafts!

This is the round where you receive one draft based on your feedback. This draft is not “final”. There is one last round of major changes. If there is anything you want added-in or changed, we do that here.

This is your final edit. The only thing we might change from here is:

1. Correct any grammar/spelling if there was something missed in the second draft.

2. If the printer (should you choose to print with one of my print shops) needs something adjusted for printing integrity or die-cutting stability.

I will send your final draft out for quotes at my local shops.

Please keep in mind:

• Letter press and engraving cost more than digital printing

• Any sort of leaf (gold leaf, silver leaf, etc.) costs an additional cost

Quotes are put in for. I will communicate the final cost in the form of a printing quote. You must approve the quote in order for your product(s) to be sent to print.

Final payment is only accepted in the form of check or cash. It must be made before your final design is sent without a watermark and before anything goes to print. Without final payment, no further services will be rendered.

You can pick up your product(s) at any time once I have them in my possession. I can also ship at an additional cost.
